Our work is a journey of discovery

Counselling might include exploring big ‘life’ issues like how we make meaning and what gives our life purpose, or it might be about finding solutions and new directions. In counselling you can find your voice and the confidence to start exploring what is working, and what could be working better for you.

Why counselling

There are many reasons you might seek counselling. My role is to work with you to explore your experience and find new ways to understand and approach:

  • Relationship challenges
  • Parenting and family matters
  • Grief and loss
  • Depression or anxiety
  • Trauma and abuse
  • Alcohol and other drug, misuse and addiction
  • Confidence and self esteem issues
  • Life transitions and changes
  • Living with health challenges
  • Identity issues
  • Spirituality and meaning

Together we journey towards understanding as you build strength and trust in your own capacity to make the changes you desire.

“I came to counselling hoping for a way out of the pain, anguish and emotional turmoil. I’d never had counselling before, what was important was having someone to talk to, in confidence, someone who wasn’t judging me. Time does heal, I met someone new and counselling also supported me to change the way I was living.”
